I know that this won’t be popular, but we have to face facts.
The population of the earth is currently 1.7Bn. It can only sustainably support 0.5Bn. This is not going to be changed by switching to solar power etc! It is only going to be addressed by stopping having babies. We have to change our attitude to “fertility issues”. Having children is NOT a human right, nor is it an essential psychological need. If someone can only validate themselves by external means (i.e. producing offspring) then their mental wellbeing issues predate their inability to procreate. We have known this for half a century, but we are still in denial.
