‘More help needed’ for UK recession recovery

-

'Help needed' for business recoveryMore help is needed to allow UK businesses to expand globally and maintain a sustained recovery from the recession, it has been claimed.

A poll from Keep Britain Working has found that a third of respondents believe businesses should get tax breaks to help support exports, while a further third felt small companies would benefit from export advice.

Over the last year, over 800 ideas have been shared with the group, it revealed, as part of an effort to submit suggestions on how to retain and create jobs.

James Reed, founder of the campaign and chairman of recruitment group Reed, said: "Across the UK people believe that we need to look outward, to the global marketplace, to secure sustainable recovery. So we are calling for ideas on what must be done to help businesses take advantage of global markets."
