The HR Retail Circle has partnered with RetailChoice.com, the UK’s leading retail recruitment website, to launch the Rising HR Star in Retail Grant 2014. This award will go to a deserving HR retail professional along with a £2,500 grant to help develop their career.

This new initiative recognises ‘champions’ in retail HR and presents an opportunity for individuals to nominate themselves or peers who have made a real difference to a retailer’s HR programmes.

Esther O’Halloran at the HR Retail Circle commented: “The role of the HR professional is integral to the success of retail employers and as such it is vitally important that these individuals get the recognition that they deserve. So I am delighted that The HR Retail Circle and RetailChoice.com have joined forces to award a £2,500 development grant to an individual that exemplifies the role of HR.”

The deadline for nominations is 4th June 2014.

Finalists will be invited to meet a judging panel in June and the winner will be announced at RetailChoice.com’s 10th Birthday celebrations on Thursday, 17th July 2014 at The Haymarket Hotel, London.

Neil Brodie, Sales Director at RetailChoice.com said: “Retail showcases a diverse range of brands in differing sectors, and requires talented individuals to help translate their unique recruitment challenges and needs – which is no easy task. Whether these HR professionals work for high street brands or unique independents, we really want to hear about them and shine a light on their achievements.”
