Sodexo Motivation Solutions teams up with Cycle Solutions for National Bike Week

-

Sodexo Motivation Solutions, the world’s largest motivation solutions provider, has teamed up with Cycle Solutions, a leading provider in cycle to work schemes. This partnership, ahead of the National Bike Week (19th-27th June), marks the next step in the development of a range of flexible benefits available to Sodexo Motivation Solutions’ and Cycle Solutions’ clients. By referring clients to each other, both companies are now able to deliver a much broader and more flexible range of options available to their clients.

It is hoped that through this partnership, Sodexo Motivation Solutions and Cycle Solutions can raise the profile of the government’s Cycle to Work Scheme, which does not have the profile or exposure it deserves.

Amongst other benefits, Sodexo provides childcare vouchers under the SayCare Pass brand. Cycle to work and childcare voucher schemes both operate under salary sacrifice arrangements for employees who benefit from the savings on tax and national insurance. Both of these flexible benefits are becoming more popular for companies to offer to their employees.

Sodexo Motivation Solutions has always been committed to a health centred ethos and has always endorsed a healthy work-life balance. With cycling being high on the agenda in the U.K at the moment, a commitment to the physical and environmental benefits of encouraging alternative transport to work can only be a good thing. The cycle to work scheme is not only beneficial to the health of the workforce, but, at a time when cash-strapped businesses are unable to increase salaries, it can provide a perfect tax-free alternative in employees’ flexible benefits package.

Kevin Harrington, director of Sodexo Motivation Solutions said:

“National Bike Week is a great celebration of the importance of cycling and its health and environmental benefits. Our association with Cycle Solutions is important for us in order to emphasise our commitment to employee well-being and being able to offer a truly flexible benefits and motivation package to our clients.”

Steve Edgell, director of Cycle Solutions said:

“ Sodexo Motivation Solutions has an unrivalled reputation in terms of delivering flexible and ethical solutions to a wide-range of clients across the country. A partnership between us and Sodexo Motivation Solutions therefore comes naturally. Our recognised expertise in this field combined with Sodexo Motivation Solutions’ experience will deliver a truly fantastic spectrum of healthy, ethical, motivating and engaging solutions.”
