HSF health plan has announced that they will continue to pay for homeopathy treatment whether or not the government continues to fund it.

Many supporters believe homoeopathy, a treatment some have used for many years, helps relieve a range of ailments from bruising to insomnia.

Stephen Duff, HSF health plan Deputy Chief Executive, says, “At the HSF health plan we understand that the cost of specialised treatment can be prohibitive and people who prefer to choose homoeopathy as opposed to traditional medicine could soon find it hard to fund their treatment.

“Our plans will continue to give cash back for homeopathy treatment should the government withdraw its funding.”

HSF health plan provides money towards dental and optical, specialist and investigations, practitioner treatments – such as physiotherapy, chiropody and acupuncture – personal accident cover, home care help, birth grant and much more.

All plans include 24/7 access to a GP Helpline, a Medical Helpline, a Stress Counselling Line, which is staffed by nurse counsellors, and a Legal Advice Line.
