Bromak, the training and recruitment specialist, has launched a range of first aid courses geared towards its clients in the built environment sector.

The launch follows the acquisition of a specialist first aid training school earlier this year, which allows Bromak to now offer a full range of vital first aid courses to its clients. The diverse variety of programmes includes emergency care, paediatric care, defibrillator training and advanced first aid training.

The fully OFQUAL accredited courses are delivered by Bromak’s network of experienced tutors and are geared specifically around the requirements of the client.

They can also be delivered on-site for convenience, and learners receive an industry recognised qualification on completion of each course.

Mathew Bewley, director of training for Bromak, said: “This new range of courses offers organisations, particularly in the construction industry, the chance to ensure their staff are trained to deal with emergency situations in the workplace.

“The environments in which a lot of our clients operate can be dangerous, so it is vital that companies have staff equipped with the right training to act effectively if the worst happens.”

The development of services follows the opening of new Bromak offices in Durham to serve the north east and Watford for Bromak’s south east customers. The expanding Bromak network also includes Liverpool, Sheffield, Lichfield and the company’s headquarters at Bolton.

Bromak offers a comprehensive range of construction and industry-related training programmes, including health & safety, management and Construction Skills accredited courses. The company is fully CITB accredited and can provide all of the courses within the Construction Skills Framework.
