Eight key factors that are the basis for influencing employee passion have been identified in a recent study.

According to an email survey conducted by The Ken Blanchard Companies, meaning, fairness and collaboration are among the key drivers of employee passion.

In addition, respondents stated that they need to feel that their work is worthwhile and connected to a larger purpose.

The remaining factors identified by employees were autonomy, recognition, growth opportunities and connectedness with both leaders and colleagues.

Commenting on the findings, The Ken Blanchard Companies stated: "In order for companies to attract and keep effective employees, they must provide meaningful work, autonomy, recognition, collaboration, room for growth and create an environment where people can connect with their leaders and colleagues."
