We are excited to announce some of the speakers for this highly anticipated conference that will explore the latest innovations and thought leadership in the apprentices and school leavers market.

This conference has been designed to help you discover how to stand out in a market that’s more competitive than ever due to the expanding sphere of apprenticeship recruitment and topical government focus on aiding these areas.

The conference will include talks on hot topics such as the impact, challenges and solutions surrounding the apprenticeship levy, where Emma O’Dell from BPP Professional Education will release BPP’s second phase of levy research and identify the employer challenges associated with the levy and help find solutions for employers.

Michelle Adams from Telefonica o2 will discuss bridging the gap between talent and business and how to build a diverse pipeline of future skills. Her talk will include how to use apprenticeships to address long-term strategic skills gaps, and how to select and hire talent without boundaries.

Laura Boswell, an industry talent expert from Channel 4 will talk about how to ‘be part of a fast-paced media company’, discussing how Channel 4 encourages talented people to move towards apprenticeships rather than University courses. She will also discuss how to increase diversity through different life experiences, ideas and viewpoints.

This conference will be chaired by Neil Wheeler, LAAN London Chair from the Apprentices Ambassador Network and promises to be the must attend event for HR professionals who want to improve how they and their businesses recruit school leavers into and then develop them through apprenticeship schemes.
