Over two thirds (67%) of employees have been on team-building away days in the last five years, a new survey revealed this week. Despite a fifth of respondents reporting the importance of team-building activities for improving relationships with colleagues, they seem to have become less of a priority.

Last week we asked whether you think competition in the workplace makes for better employee performance when parents and teachers revealed their concerns that a lack of competitive activity in schools is harming young people’s chance of career success.
