Edward Davey, the Minister for Employment Relations, has written to the REC confirming that the Government agrees with the REC’s position that the Gangmaster Licensing Authority (GLA) should not be extended.
The Government has also emphasised its commitment to risk-based enforcement through the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate and other regulatory bodies.
