NixonMcInnes announces the first series of speakers confirmed for Meaning, the international conference for people who believe in better, more meaningful business for the 21st century. Meaning returns to the Brighton Corn Exchange for the third year on 18 November 2014.

Confirmed speakers:

Ben Dyson, founder of Positive Money, a campaign for a banking system that works for society and not against it. Ben will provide an in-depth look at how the current process for money creation is causing a rise in poverty, instability and inequality.

Lauri Feinsod, CEO of US picture framing company, Graphik Dimensions will share her passion for unleashing the magnificent potential in each of her work-family and explain why for her, success and consciousness go hand in hand.

Stefania Druga, founder of HacKIDemia, an international organisation that supports learning by doing and playing. Stefania will deliver an inspiring talk on AfriMakers – a project that trains makers in the third world to solve problems through creativity and collaboration.

Amanda Bybee, vice president at Namasté Solar, an employee-owned cooperative with a democratic, progressive and unique working culture based in Colorado, USA. Amanda will share a warts-and-all account of how the company’s democratic decision-making processes have evolved during rapid company growth.

In addition to the world-class speaker programme, Meaning will also offer visitors the opportunity to connect with like-minded people through active sessions and workshops based around the conference’s main themes: organisational design & structure, workplace democratisation, conscious business, 21st century leadership, the future of money, steady state economics, sustainably in business and technology.
