Equality is not just about ensuring that organisations offer equality in opportunities, but that individuals actually have real choice. At present, we have the opportunity to belong to organisations that closely resemble our own beliefs; we can choose to belong to an organisation that employs female priests or one that doesn't (for example). It appears that Ms Harman is on a mission to impose her and the government's beliefs on everyone else, removing choice and opportunity. Roll on the election.
